Shipping & Returns

1. SHIPPING

NEMEA CROCHET ships from Italy. We take great care in packaging our handmade creations to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.

  • Ready-to-ship items: Dispatched within 2–5 business days. Estimated delivery times:
    • Italy: 2–5 business days.
    • Europe: 4–8 business days.
    • International: 7–14 business days.
  • Made-to-order & “Create Your Piece” items: These items are handcrafted specifically for you. Production time includes material sourcing and manual labor. Estimated delivery times will be communicated via email or at checkout.
  • Shipping Responsibility: NEMEA CROCHET is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • Damaged Packages: Upon delivery, if the packaging appears damaged, the customer must sign the delivery receipt “with reservation” or refuse the package. Please contact us within 48 hours at customerservice@nemeacrochet.com with photographic evidence.

2. RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with EU Consumer Law, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to the exceptions below.

A. EXCLUSION OF RETURNS

Pursuant to Art. 59, lett. c) of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

  • “Create Your Piece” & Commissions: All items created via the “Create Your Piece” service or custom commissions are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. Once production has started, the order cannot be canceled.
  • Reasoning: These items are uniquely crafted based on your choice of colors, sizes, and specific details, making them unsuitable for resale.

B. ELIGIBLE RETURNS (Ready-to-ship only)

Only products that are not personalized and are marked as “ready-to-ship” are eligible for return.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, with the original tag attached, and returned in their original packaging.
  • Return Shipping Costs: The cost of return shipping is entirely the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. NEMEA CROCHET is not responsible for return packages lost or damaged during transit.

3. REFUNDS

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (PayPal or WooPayments) within 14 business days.
  • Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.

4. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

As each piece is handmade, minor irregularities in the weave or color are characteristics of the artisan process. However, if a genuine manufacturing defect is found, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
